Change logging database

I keep getting an OS error message that indicates the logging database activity has exceeded the available system resources. I think this may be due to using MS Access as the database. Instead of disabling logging entirely, is there a way for me to switch the database that is used, so I can use something more powerful than MS Access?

At present it's not possible to change. Why not cut back on the amount of information that is kept in the logging database? This can be done from within the log viewer File > Log Clean Up Settings.
