If you can open Outlook

Hit the Help dropdown and choose Detect and Repair.

If you cannot open Outlook

Start--Settings--Control Panel. Choose Add/Remove. Choose Microsoft Office, and choose Repair.

If Outlook opens, Detect and Repair did not work, and you have a specific problem

Check for a command-line switch to repair a specific area of Outlook. It is sometimes much easier than even running Detect and Repair.
