For fock sakes, what will it take for Munich to fall completely from grace?!! Back to back losses when the going gets tough? Is this really the Bayern Munich we all have come to know and love? This is a sad state of affairs for FCB. Major reconstructive surgery shall we say this off season. Players with heart and courage would be a start. Momma's boys needn't apply. Too many already.
Have to freakin pride already!!! Anything but a victory next weekend will not be acceptable. At least give us that to hold onto until the medics arrive...
call 911I'm not saying we don't need some new blood, I just don't think a complete overhaul is needed. Ballack has been playing hurt all year, and the Euros this summer won't help. I agree the defense sucks, Rau was a huge waste. Thats really the only part I want to see upgraded, or at least given something not to get injured all the frigging time ;).
I doubt Magath will come this summer, I think it's more likely he'll come next summer, they're not going to axe Hitzfeld. I think thats been the plan all along. The only way I can see Hitzfeld leaving this summer is if he gets the Chelski gig, which I doubt.I wouldn't say we need an overhaul, just a tune up. This isn't the Bayern team that ruled during the late 90's, etc. and won the CL a few years ago. All those players are gone. There is some great young talent like Schweinsteiger & Lahm (hopefuly they'll cancel that loan deal)etc., Ballack is turning into a good canidate to follow Kahn as captain, Ze has finally shown to me he is worth it. This year was a fluke, the only real threats next year is Stuttgart & Schalke, assuming those new players can click right off. Breman will be back to it's mid-table ways, & Leverkusen couldn't win something if they tried.
The future looks good, with our home grown talent starting to shine, and those we brought in starting to play well. I wouldn't say we played bad this year, just we didn't play as well as Breman.cj, I can't agree with your assessment of Bayern, but rather I'm in agreement with eissman. No heart, no soul, no desire. Cry babies is a very apt term. Ballack to be the captain??? The man needs to quit whinning on the pitch. He needs to dig in. And what of Bayern's defense? Good heavens, we stink in the back. Did you see Ailton's goal against Linke (another super-whiner, and a dirty player to boot)?
